After four years with Elle'n'Belle, the sisters Elif and Sibel Erisik decide to strike out in a new direction and close their restaurant per May 31st. Their vegan restaurant at the Limmatplatz in Zürich was a complete success: Vegans could finally feast in fondue, cheesecake or Dönner. In 2015, their ideas were officially recognized and awarded third place in the Best of Swiss Gastro Awards in the Trend category. The reason for the closure is therefore not too few visitors, but has logistical backgrounds. The rental contract for the Zurich restaurant was always limited due to a complete renovation of the building, which made it difficult for the two vegan entrepreneurs to plan for the long term.
