Star Chef Gaggan at the Dolder Grand Zürich

What: On May 8th, the Dolder Grand Restaurant will be hosting a superstar of top gastronomy: Gaggan Anand will be showing his skills with the chef of the Dolder Grand Heiko Nieder and the two will create an exclusive eight-course menu for their guests. Gaggan Anand, originally from Calcutta, runs a successful restaurant in Bangkok, which is named after him. For the fourth time in a row the restaurant has won first place in the "Asia's 50 Best Restaurants" award. Anand’s cooking style combines Indian street-food and ultra-modern cooking techniques. The top chef is always good for a surprise: His special dish in the Gaggan is the menu "Lick it up" and consists of green peas, mushrooms, tomatoes and fenugreek. The idea is that the guests lick the food directly from the plate, because the ingredients are arranged exactly where the respective taste buds of the tongue are. Mehr infos here.
