Tatar Monday

Every Monday the Tatar Monday takes place at the Brasserie Freilager in Zürich Altstetten. Tatar is served there in all its facets: Back-to-basic Tatar, Vegetarian-Tatar or the Freilager classic, the Ojo de Agua Tatar. The premium beef is imported directly and exclusively into Switzerland by Dieter Meiers Estancia in Argentina. There is a side dish and various toppings, such as Belperknolle (a Swiss cheese) or black truffle, with each tartar. Tatar consists of high-quality low-fat and tendon-free muscle meat, very finely chopped, salted and peppered and then usually eaten raw.
