The Altes Klösterli (little old monestary), is the somewhat different zoo restaurant. You can stop by after a visit to the zoo, but the restaurant can also be visited independently. From the terrace you have a beautiful view into the Semine mountains of the zoo, where exotic animals live and monkeys gambol around and give you the feeling of being in the middle of the African wilderness. In the Altes Klösterli, mainly Swiss specialities are served and there are also good menu-choises for children. So it's the perfect place to stop by after a family outing at the zoo and get some refreshments.
